South Africa's record  scorer Bryan Habana  announces retirement from Rugby


South Africa's record attempt scorer Bryan Habana will resign toward the finish of the season.

The 34-year-old, who scored 67 tries in 124 Tests, was a piece of the Springboks side that won the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

"The unavoidable minute has come thumping on my entryway and I've invited it in for a drink," the Toulon winger composed on Instagram.

"So toward the finish of this season, it's an ideal opportunity to state farewell and thank you to the amusement I so sincerely cherish

Habana, who made his universal introduction against England at Twickenham in 2004, scored eight tries to enable South Africa to achieve the last of the 2007 World Cup where they beat England.

In 2015, he went ahead to level with previous New Zealand winger Jonah Lomu's record of 15 tries in World Cups. Tweet Digitals

All the more as of late however, the winger has been assailed by knee damage and the type of kindred wingers Chris Ashton and Josua Tuisova has constrained his playing time at the French Top 14 side.

Habana last played universal rugby in 2016, and closes his vocation four appearances shy of the unsurpassed South Africa appearance record set by Victor Matfield.
