PARIS: American Sloane Stephens' triumph in Miami saw the 25-year-old break into the best 10 of the WTA rankings, to ninth, without precedent for her profession on Monday.
Romania's Simona Halep (8,140 focuses) stays best of the heap with Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki trailing a long ways behind in second (6,790).
Stephens' turn up three spots to ninth pushed Petra Kvitova (tenth), Angelique Kerber (eleventh) and Daria Kasatkina (twelfth) down one place individually.
